Grace was one of ArtFit Oregon’s first students. She has come so far since her first day and she advanced quickly to the kids intermediate/advanced class. Grace has beautiful musicality, style and control in her silks performances and she always strives to do her very best. My favorite artist is Taylor Swift. My favorite song is Margerie by Taylor Swift because I relate to it in some ways and reminds me of my dad. My favorite hobby is Aerial Silks. My biggest dream is to be a famous singer, however my goal in life is to help people. Three awesome things about myself are that I am a pretty good painter and songwriter. I also am pretty good at silks.
I started doing aerial silks when I was little. I wanted to try it when I was taking a floor dance class. I have loved it since my very first class. What brought me to ArtFit Oregon is that I was looking for an aerial silk class. My mom was going to start driving me all the way to Eugene so I could take classes. Yes, she is amazing, Just at the right time Sharon did a demo in Yachts and we went to the first one and signed up right then and there. By taking these classes I have learned new fun cool silk moves. When I do aerial silks, I feel free because it is my therapy. My biggest achievement in aerial silks right now is doing a rotation however I hope to start doing drops. Doing aerial silks is helping me with my strength and flexibility. My biggest challenge is that it hurt my hands and feet, but I just kept doing it and now it doesn’t hurt. When I am able to master a new move it makes me feel happy.
